I bought a pair of boots at a thrift store ($2) & will trace a paper pattern on it. I'll cut my dough to that pattern, bake it flat on aluminum foil & while it's cooling, place the gingerbread on the boot to cool to the shape of the boot. It might take a couple tries, but I think it'll be ok!pamela shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17177361447075930141noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18405789.post-1161906069469027952006-10-26T18:41:00.000-05:002006-10-26T18:41:00.000-05:00WHOA, that shoe house looks really difficult! One thing at a time, I guess.

Are you going to post pictures of your scarves?Samanthahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08915855734482595293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18405789.post-1161808213216027692006-10-25T15:30:00.000-05:002006-10-25T15:30:00.000-05:00I've seen trains & they can be great centerpieces ...I've seen trains & they can be great centerpieces and so cute! My advice would be space it out over a week, so you don't get overwhelmed. I bake a day, construct some a day, finish construction another day, etc. Also, if you're going to eat it, make sure you use edible icing, not Royal icing (it has uncooked egg whites in it). Have fun!pamela shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17177361447075930141noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18405789.post-1161806167451474032006-10-25T14:56:00.000-05:002006-10-25T14:56:00.000-05:00I just found a really neat gingerbread train in a ...I just found a really neat gingerbread train in a family fun magazine that I want to try to make this holiday season.
