What are their parents thinking? Do they just not notice, or do they allow it because they afraid their kids will feel left out or different?ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12153919574092594533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18405789.post-19754657968009367712007-11-06T12:37:00.000-05:002007-11-06T12:37:00.000-05:00I love the last line in the article, "real pirates...I love the last line in the article, "real pirates wear pants." :)
It was a good article.Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09497515692656667106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18405789.post-62917947924072811722007-11-03T13:58:00.000-05:002007-11-03T13:58:00.000-05:00I completely agree with you. Have you seen how target and kohl's are pushing the teenage/junior looks into the girls' sections?! It's ridiculous. Little girls are being told by the world that too look older is better. What happened to sweet little girl dresses? I'm convinced we'll have to do a lot of sewing for Chloe or shopping online as she gets older so we can preserve the sweet innocent little girl look as long as possible.

Even the lingo out in the world is changing due to younger girls "growing up" quicker. Age 9-12 girls are now labeled as "tweenagers". Crazy. But as Christians we shouldn't expect things to get any better as the world continues to degenerate and we look forward to Christ's return!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00095630377321295014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18405789.post-35838681177589982642007-10-30T11:36:00.000-05:002007-10-30T11:36:00.000-05:00I don't think it makes it easier to have a boy - j...I don't think it makes it easier to have a boy - just think of how over-sexualized the world will be when they hit puberty. I don't know what society is thinking - better yet, I don't think they are thinking! We can only pray for God's wisdom and guidance during these crazy times! I hope you have a boy - they are SO much easier! he he heAbbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07861605412646549898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18405789.post-26113816981753493562007-10-29T21:02:00.000-05:002007-10-29T21:02:00.000-05:00Perfect PERFECT time to let them go out of the hou...Perfect PERFECT time to let them go out of the house dressed like that, too...going DOOR TO DOOR with who knows who handing out candy.
