On July 3rd, we had our 20 weeks ultrasound. We found out our little one is quite the mover & the shaker. The pics are not the greatest due to the fact that s/he moved so much! Also, because of this, the technician tried 3 times to find out the sex for Geoff (not me-I need motivation to push! :), but alas, our little bean would not cooperate!
The 1st pic is the best profile one we got.
The 2nd & 3rd pics are the face looking at us. You can see the outline of the skull if you look for it. :)
Our little one loves to suck on his/hers fingers! Many times we saw them in the mouth. Too cute!

So cute! I keep meaning to scan my ultrasound pics of our little one too. A week ago, we went to find out the sex, and our baby wouldn't cooperate either! Luke was the same way, but with him we only had one ultrasound, so had no other chances to find out. With this one, the baby was so smushed up (actually he/she was folded completely in half with his ankles crossed in front of his face!), that they couldn't get a look at everything they wanted to, so I have to go back in a week. I have a drs. appt. the day before, so I'll have two chances to find out the sex. If he denies us both times, we'll know we have quite the stinker on our hands, and I'll be giving him/her a talking-to when I meet him! :)
Cute nursery bedding too! I have overcome my aversion to pastels and like the Classic Pooh decor I had, but I used to hate pastels!
Yay for the ultrasound! Isn't it just fascinating to see all the baby's moving parts and organs and such?!? Did you drink some mountain dew before hand to get your little one moving? :) Just kidding.
I'm getting really ansy to have our ultrasound next month. Hopefully our bambino will cooperate because I totally want to know his/her gender!
Katie, I know we've been busy too, that's why it's taken me about 2 weeks to get them up. :) We have to go back in 2 weeks to get another u/s done to get a better pic of the kidneys. We saw them, but the dr. wants another try at a clearer picture. The tech was concerned about her pic of the heart, so they might re-do that too. I'm hoping our little one keeps his legs crossed, so daddy can be surprised too.
Alicia, Hope your little bean cooperates with you!! I confess I did have a caffeine free root beer for lunch, so maybe the sugar rush had something to do with it, but it was 4 hours after I had eaten, so I'm not sure.
I can't wait to be auntie katie!!!!! They look a lot better than the ones you emailed, thanks for posting them. I hope Geoff finds out so I can talk to him....hehe
