Friday Survey

Most people are either a cat person or a dog person, but then there are those who love both and those who can't stand either. What type of animal person are you?

1. About how many pets have you had throughout your life? 5 cats

2. Which pet was your favorite and why? Tootie, the cat. She let us dress her up in doll clothes and push her around in our baby strollers.

3. How many pets do you have now? What are their names? 0 - Our landlord won't allow furry animals.

4. If you could have any kind of animal as a pet, which one would you choose and why? Llama. I remember watching Sesame Street as a little kid and was so jealous of the gilr who took her llama to the vet. get its teeth checked out.

5. Do you think some people become a little too obsessed with their pets? Why or Why not? Yes, I know we're supposed to kind to animals, but some people are a little extreme! I'm sure they have good hearts, and I wouldn't want any of my animals to suffer, but there's a time to let go.
Don't even get me started about dog clothes & diamond accesories. Good grief!

1. I've had 4 dogs, MANY cats, 3 or 4 birds, fish, and sheep. (an experiment of my dad's)

2. My favorite was Patches, the dog I had from age 2 til 18.

3. I currently have one pet, a GIANT black lab named Trango. (see previous posts for pics and info)

4. ANY kind of animal? One that doesn't smell, shed, or infest my house with bugs! Fish, I guess!:)

i am sooo not an animal person. cats are the worst and then dogs. but i started thinking about all the pets i've had....sheesh! you'd think we were farmers. so here they are in chronological order (as far as i remember)
a) a no name snake (when i was a baby--but my mom made my dad get rid of it when she thought it was big enough to eat me:0 ) b) brandy a retriever c) moses a parrot d)jake/edgar the snake (my dad refused to call him jake) e) oreo the hampster f) oreo the rabbit g) the following hunting beagles not all at the same time: duke, nitro, buck, spike, chase h) 4 goldfish: lucy, ricky, fred and ethel (they got the flush right before florida one year, but i bought 4 new ones for the sequel) and then i) our piranha ambassador
no pets now, but i totally agree about the llama!! i loved that thing. although it did freak me out a bit.

1. Approx. 13-17 - 3 goats, 3 dogs, 1 goldfish, 1 pony (yeah, that only lasted a summer), and approx. 5-9 cats (there was a 2-year period when we went through 3-5 cats, one way or another)
2.Hm, this is a tough one. Either Michael, our goat - because he had been ours before I was born; or George the cat, even though she scratched me; or Honey our Golden Retriever because she almost died out in the snow one Christmas Eve when she was a wee puppy. (oddly enough, Michael and George were both females.)
3.0 - We move around way too much; a child is enough to tend to, and we can't afford one.
4.A nice friendly dog - maybe a Golden Retriever. But we would have to have enough space for her to be mainly an outside dog and also have plenty of room outside to run around.
5.TOTALLY - a good example is my in-laws! :) They're not too extreme though (no cat clothes or diamond accesories), but they do frequently buy each other clothes, mugs, and other miscellaneous gifts with their cats pictures on them. They have 3 cats. I like a good, friendly cat, but they think I'm a cat-hater (nobody tell them, please.).

Sorry I'm a bit late on this friday survey. :)
1. 3 pets - 2 bunnies and one kitty. 1 bunny died, 1 escaped and the kitty we had to give away because it got into too much trouble while I was at school.
2. Midnight (the kitty) was my pal. Such a cutie pie! He was a jet black kitten who liked to chew on my purple stuffed teddy.
3. None. I'm afraid to have any animals with Chloe being so little.
4. I'd like a good outside dog. I like the idea of a guard outside to alert us if anything is wrong. We need to get some land out in the country for that to happen though. I'd never want to restrict a dog to the city.
5. Um, yes. I have to say I've never liked hearing pet stories from people. Some people liken their pets to children - totally over the top.

I'm late too! :-)

1. 2 cats (as kids growing up), 3 fish (2 in college and one now)

2. Our current fish, Frank, because he is so spunky and actually follows you as you walk near his bowl. I wouldn't believe it if I heard it from someone else, but he is really the coolest goldfish!

3. Just Frank. We named him Frank Norman Muth so that we could stop the comments that we should name our child Frank N Muth (that will only make sense to MI residents...)

4. I love my goldfish!!

5. YES! I totally agree with you, Pam! (think I'm obsessive about Frank???) HA!
