Praise Ye the Lord!

Since Hallelujah has been used twice (thanks to Alicia & Shannon), I decided on Praise Ye the Lord. (sidenote: I never realized there was music to the song "Hallelu, Hallelu" until I was 20 something - I always thought it was a pure shouting :)

After a long hard semester - the hardest ever for Geoff, he completed his last exam of the school year on Monday! Yeah!!!! My husband is back in my life! Yeah!!!! Next year is is his last year of schooling which is soooo encouraging. There IS a light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes he jokes about going for his ph.d., but I joke back saying he'll have to get a different wife to help him through that degree. ;) (Katie & Alicia, I have the utmost respect for you!) The registrar checked his schedule and everything looks pretty good, so graduation is feasible for next May (sigh).

On Monday night, I didn't rush through dinner prep after work. Geoff didn't inhale his dinner, so he could get started on schoolwork. We actually sat on the couch together. It was great! To celebrate we'll have dinner & movie night in the next week or so. A night without worrying if he'll get his reading done or have a paper deadline hanging over his head - now that's relaxation.

Pam,

I attended Northland too and found your link through others blogs. Is your husband Geoff Smith from Upper Bucks? If so, I graduated high school with him.

Good for him, and good for you, Pam! Nate is hurriedly finishing up the last of his schooling--I know how you're feeling! Enjoy your time with Geoff again!

Hi Jocelyn,
I do remember you from NBBC. Yes, Geoff went to UBCS. We still go to Bethel while he's at Calvary Seminary. We love our new pastor! I'll let Geoff know you said hi. Thanks for stopping by.
