WFMW: Udderly SMooth

I haven't done a Works For Me Wednesday in a while. My husband works outdoors year-round at a garden nursery as the Maintenance-Jack-of-all-Trades-Can-Fix-Anything Guy. Since he uses his hands constantly for wiring, tools, etc., he does not wear gloves very often if ever. Needless to say, winter's wind & coldness chaps his hands terribly!

I desperately searched for any lotion that would help his dry, red, cracking hands because none of our current lotions where helping. I randomly picked up Udderly SMooth lotion while at the grocery store. As I read the directions, my face reddened a little until I figured out that this is indeed originally meant for cows, but humans are allowed to use it also.

Honestly, this lotion is WONDERFUL!! There isn't a girly smell to it, so my husband will use it, and it seems to seep into your skin, and won't wash away. Within three days, my hubby's hands looked almost new! We've been using it constantly this winter, and our skin is staying smooth & soft. For $3, I didn't think it could get much better!
Visti Rocks In My Dryer (link is on my sidebar) for more great ideas!

Thanks for the tip! I've been using a combo of aveda hand lotion, and vitamin E lotion. I slather it on all day long and my hands still look reddish and dry.

Hello,

My mother-in-law gave me a tub of the cream at the end of December because I used some at her house and was so impressed. This is GREAT stuff!

Blessings,

Trixie

Hi Pamela!
My mom used to use an udder lotion for her hands in the summer after gardening, and it worked great. It's just a little wierd thinking about what it's actually intended for, lol!
