Nursery Bedding

My fabulous mom offered to help with our nursery bedding. Since I don't want to know the gender & want to use this bedding in the future, I had to go with a neutral theme. Harder than it sounds because the majority of the bedding is gender specific. Another thing that made my decision difficult, other than the fact that since being preggo, I can't make up my mind about a thing, was that I pretty much hate pastels. There isn't anything pastel in my home decor or closet. I love rich, vibrant colors, and gag when I see a lot of pastels.
So, I started searching. I finally decided on a Mother Goose theme which led to this fabric:

This will be our comforter. It's already quilted with this on the back in addition to being the same pattern of fabric for the crib sheets:

I cannot tell you how excited I am to have made this decision & how THANKFUL I am that mom is doing this for us. It makes it soooo special!! Thanks, Mom!! I love you! The baby says thank you too! :)

Great theme! My mother-in-law made Olivia's crib accessories, and I, too, am so grateful. Especially now that she has moved away!

Awesome pattern! This is based on one of Mary Engelbreit's nursery rhyme books which Chloe LOVES! So, when your wee one is a toddler, he/she will be able to do the nursery rhymes by looking at the pictures on his/her bedding. Bonus! Have you found fabric for curtains and other accessories too?

Thanks, girls.
My mom e-mailed me pics of the fabric for the accesories. The bumpers will be different shades of yellow matching the moon and the dust ruffle will be a vertical stripe of primary colors & white. I can't wait to see the finished product!

Alicia, You're right about it being Mary Engebrit's work, and there's a cloth book panel that goes with this fabric. The fabric can be found at Wal-Mart in case you want to do a little project for Chloe or your little one. :)
