Over at Rocks In My Dryer, Shannon is having a limerick contest ending tonight! Go write a fun limerick to enter for a free MP3 Player-which happens to be on my wish list right now!

Here are my entries. Not sure you can have 2, but oh well.

Our dear daughter decided to give us a smile
Her gummy face lasted quite awhile
We thought it was gas
But nothing did pass
And our love grew gazing at her face with no guile

As a young mother cuddled her baby
She thought, “Maybe, oh, maybe!
We’ll sleep through the night
Without a fight
And no more a walking zombie I may be!”
