Trusting

I know it's been forever since my last post, or at least it seems that way. The last couple weeks have been quite a roller coaster for us. It seems like God is giving us many chances to lean on Him, and realize that we cannot do anything on our own. But, also, He has given us so much that we can't even keep track!

Right now, I'm reminded of Prov. 3:5-6. So many times we glide over the well-known verses, but how often do we really take it to heart?
I'm commanded to trust the Lord with all my heart, and to forget about leaning on my own intellect (which we all know is very little), but in all my decisions, acknowledge that my Lord is my God & He can and will take care of us, and guide us on the best pathway in life for us.

Geoff is done for the semester - YEAH!!!! But, he had to preach on Wed. to the Youth Group, so he hasn't really relaxed yet. Then, today we found out that our car needs repair, and the great Jack of all Trades that I married is going to try to fix it himself to save us hundreds of dollars. I hope it works!

Learning to trust seems continual for us too! Hang on to the grace of our good and wise Father who will never give us what isn't good for us.

Best wishes with the car repairs!
